I was paid 5 figures for being on set today. And it wasn’t the first time I get paid this amount for a campaign. And wow it’s so scary to say that out loud. I don’t say it to “show off” or brag. I say this because it took so much sacrifice throughout the years and mental work to get here. I share it because I don’t think some women realize their potential and the way this platform can impacts your life. I still remember the morning of my 40th birthday. I cried, not because I was turning 40, but because I felt like I wasn’t where I thought I’d be. I felt behind, like I should’ve accomplished so much more by then, and like the life I was living wasn’t the one I’d always imagined for myself.
