As
#TeenVogueFest came to a conclusion Saturday, July 25, an eager crowd of teens and twentysomethings was only starting to form, rather quickly, for thefrostchilden’s Frost Fest at the sprawling, indoor-outdoor Knockdown Center in Queens.
The festival, a follow-up to the 2024 installment of the same name, is all just a grand hangout. “We wanted it to be a big show in New York that had the kind of the artists we like and have worked on random sessions with,” Angel Prost (angel__prost), one-half of Frost Children, explains, citing the likes of LA-based Ilykimchi, K-electronic Kimj, and alt-Japanese idol group Pinponpanpon who are each bringing something new to their respective, oft-overlapping, musical realms. “It was an excuse to bring them all to one place,” she continues.
