I’ve just recently jumped from working full time in oil and gas , to working as a full time freelance sports creative, here’s what I’ve learned so far ⤵️⤵️ 1. Work doesn’t always just come to you: Most of my work has been through clients I’ve already had, building connections and perfecting your craft is one thing, but making yourself present online and actively applying for roles or reaching out to organizations will help you. 2. Connections are everything: Connections absolutely help you get to where you want to be; maintaining relationships with people you have done work for or know will take you miles ahead. 3. You are completely busy one week, and quiet the next: As I jumped into going full time, I have absolutely been busy; finding myself working 24/7 now, but I have also get to have days where I am able to take the time I need or time to get stuff done.
