Up to 95% of women under 50 who are at higher risk of developing breast cancer are being missed by current NHS checks, say UK researchers. A study using a new comprehensive risk assessment tool developed at the University of Cambridge, identified eight times as many women in this age group being at risk than under the current criteria.
