Happy National Hugging Day 🤗
Different types of “hugs” on the mat:
🤗 The Bear Hug – Not for cuddling
🫂 Body Lock – Zero personal space
💪 Over-Under – Mutual agreement to struggle
🤼♂️ Clinch – Competitive closeness
🔄 Head & Arm – Trust exercise (kind of)
🪢 Double Underhooks – Extra secure “hug”
🧲 Seatbelt – Buckled in, no escape
🛑 Cradle – Looks sweet, feels… not
Same closeness. Very different intentions. 🤼♂️
Built through grit, trust, and respect—on and off the mat.
