Today, on Patriot Day, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the bravery of the first responders who answered the call. 🕊️ My kiddo had a project due today and asked me questions about where I was, how I felt and the impact on my life. There are a few events in your life that you will always remember where you were, who you were with and how you felt. For me, I was on my way to class and was listening to the radio. We thought it was just a bad joke but after we crowded around the small TV in the fraternity room we quickly realized it was real. While visiting in NYC back in 2021 we took the kids to the reflecting pools to reflect on all those who were lost and dedicated their lives to hellping others.
