Please join us in welcoming Coach Samuel Schreer to the Hoya Youth Lacrosse family as our Boys Kindergarten–1st Grade Head Coach! 🥍 We’re excited to have him on board, bringing a passion for growing the game and supporting young athletes at the earliest stages. Sam played lacrosse for a year in high school before shifting his focus to swimming—but now, over a decade later, he’s rediscovering his love for the sport alongside his two boys, both active in the Hoya program. As a Hoya parent with players on both the K–1 and 2nd–3rd grade teams, Coach Samuel is already deeply connected to our community. He understands how important these early years are for building confidence, fundamentals, and a love for the game. Sam is especially excited to coach the K–1 team for the first time this season and is passionate about inspiring kids to move, learn new skills, and support their teammates.
