When I created MDW, I had just made the decision to walk away from playing professional basketball overseas so I could be home and fully present with my growing family as my wife was pregnant with our oldest son. Looking back, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Those early years weren’t glamorous. I worked two jobs while building my basketball training business from the ground up just to provide for my family. It was humbling. It was exhausting. But I had a plan… and more importantly, I knew God had a plan for me. So I just kept showing up. I just kept pushing.
