Business Insider's Erin McDowell grew up watching marathons of Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares," so when she got the chance to finally dine at one of the famed chef's restaurants, she anticipated nothing but greatness. On a July 2025 girls' trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey, she and a friend stopped by Ramsay's steakhouse chain — aptly named Gordon Ramsay Steak — inside Harrah's Resort.
