Most “tight hip” squats are actually an ankle dorsiflexion problem wearing a hip disguise. 3 drills to fix the real chain. That stiff squat likely isn’t a hip problem. It is an ankle problem that forced the hip, the spine, and the shoulders to collapse around it. When the ankle locks, every joint above compensates. The fix follows the chain from the ground up. 1. Kneeling Ankle Stretch, 3x20s each side 2. Lunge to Pyramid Pose Flow, 2x5 each side 3. Deep Squat Thoracic Rotation, 2x5 each side Comment BASICS for the Grade 1 Mobility programme. Four weeks, press play, copy me, any level. $29. #Elastaboy #Reboryn #AnkleMobility #DeepSquat #KineticChain
