James Robinson deserved better. One of the best rookie running backs in the NFL in 2020 went undrafted in the NFL Draft. After every NFL team passed on him, the Jacksonville Jaguars gave him a chance and he made the most of it. Robinson had 1,070 rushing yards, 49 catches, over 1,400 total yards, and looked like the franchise running back of the future of the Jacksonville Jags. He didn’t have the best speed, but he beat NFL defenses with his vision, patience, power, balance, and broken tackles.
That Jaguars team wasn’t exactly loaded with talent either. Robinson shared the field with Gardner Minshew II, Mike Glennon, Jake Luton, Trevor Lawrence, DJ Chark, Laviska Shenault Jr., Marvin Jones Jr., Keelan Cole, D.J. Hayden, Myles Jack, and Josh Allen.
