North Korea’s state-run television, KRT, aired footage of crowds flocking to beaches and water parks across the country as a heatwave gripped much of the Korean Peninsula. KRT said heat advisories covering much of the country would remain in effect throughout the week. The broadcaster also showed workers, students and families packing Pyongyang’s water parks to escape the sweltering temperatures. #northkorea #heat #summer
