In a statement to People, a representatitve for Ariana Grande announced that she's "taking a step back from visibility" following the completion of her Eternal Sunshine tour, which is scheduled to end in London on September 1. The announcement follows public scrunity and speculation regarding her health and appearance, which was again prompted following the release of her new music video for "Petal" on Friday. The representative told People, "She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.” People also confirmed that Grande will no longer appearing in a West End revival of Sunday in the Park with George, which was scheduled to begin performances next summer.
