A Fresno man accused in a multimillion-dollar cargo theft investigation is now being held at an ICE detention facility in McFarland while he faces criminal charges in Pennsylvania. Authorities say 31-year-old Deepak Kumar was arrested in Indiana after police recovered nearly $3 million worth of stolen cargo, including nearly 40,000 pounds of tungsten oxide powder that was supposed to be shipped to Japan. Investigators say the break in the case came after Greenfield Police Department's Flock Safety camera system alerted officers to a semi-truck linked to the reported theft as it traveled along Interstate 70 in Hancock County, Indiana. "The Flock camera identified the vehicle and the plate on the vehicle as being wanted in the commission of a crime," said Greenfield Deputy Chief Chuck McMichael.
