God’s timing is so perfect. His hand evident in every detail to bring about this moment.
I was baptized as a baby, raised in church, small groups, volunteering, leading…but this decision to be baptized now is an outward expression of how a relationship with Jesus has changed everything for me. How He has drawn me closer to Him in every season. An incredible celebration, a beautiful step of surrender and obedience.
It’s not about what we can do, but what Christ has already done for us. And as an athlete, it’s easy to believe we must do the opposite: work hard, earn everything, be better and do more. Enter pride, control, and never feeling like it’s enough.
But the good news is salvation is a gift & it’s available to everyone. His love transforms our hearts and He is enough!
I’m just so grateful. Thank you Jesus!
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
