Per reports from Martyn Ziegler of The Times, Gianni Infantino will convene a crisis meeting with senior FIFA officials in Morocco on Wednesday, as further criticism of the FIFA president mounts in the wake of his failed attempt to sell World Cup shares to private investors.
On Tuesday, FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development Arsene Wenger went public with his criticisms of Infantino’s plan, while the President of the Jordan FA accused Infantino and FIFA of blackmail.
