This video documentary shows a part of the social welfare system in Bulgaria with a focus on a newer type of facilities called protected homes. In this film Yoana, Milena and Angel who live in a protected home for people with intellectual disabilities in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia show us a part of their day-to-day lives. With the help of experts, we are able to understand better how the protected home works.
