You don't need a full-blown mission trip to teach your kids what it means to serve.
A casserole for the neighbor who just had surgery. Raking leaves for the elderly couple down the street. Writing a card to someone who's lonely.
These small, ordinary acts of service are the seeds of a generous faith. Kids learn compassion not from a sermon : they learn it from an oven mitt and a warm dish, from a rake in their hands, from watching you trade convenience for kindness.
Service doesn't have to be grand to be holy. It just has to be done : together.
"Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." : Hebrews 13:16
What's one small act of service your family could do together this week?
