The canceled plan. The rained-out picnic. The trip that never happened.
In those moments, something is being formed in us : and in our children.
It's easy to trust God when everything goes according to plan. But what about when the calendar falls apart? When the reservation gets canceled? When the hope you held so tightly slips through your fingers?
Maybe that's where the real lesson lives.
Because faith isn't just trusting God with the outcome : it's trusting Him in the middle of the disappointment. It's letting our kids see us take a deep breath and say, "God must have something else for us today."
"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." : Proverbs 16:9
