Meet Payton, one of our JDJ x eatalfalfa Project Joy Cancer Scholarship recipients. Born with a defective heart valve, Payton has experienced the importance of compassionate care firsthand. She has also lost an aunt to lung cancer and a grandfather to kidney cancer. This fall, she will attend sacredheartuniversity to study exercise science on her path to becoming a physical therapist. This scholarship is easing the cost of college so Payton can focus on her education.
