Technique first. Depth second. This is one of my students after just two days of focused technical work. By improving the fundamentals, we increased both depth and dive time—without chasing numbers. Too many freedivers make the same mistake: they force depth before mastering technique. The result? • Poor movement • Higher oxygen consumption • Slower progress • Frustration • Loss of motivation • Eventually, they quit. Build the right technique first, and depth will come naturally. Don’t chase depth. Chase efficiency. Depth is a consequence of good technique—not the goal. #Freediving #apnea #spearfishing_international #snorkeling
