A little reminder to myself that a bad race is just a bad day, and this too shall pass, as I write about my Monza weekend. ❤️‍🩹 Real character building for us this round. Not the way I wanted it to go after showing such good potential throughout practice. We were putting together a qualifying lap that finally reflected our pace, but traffic on my final push lap cost us five tenths, dropping us from P13 to P23 :( I tried to keep my head up and focus on the races. We saved a fresh set of tyres for Race 2, but a throttle failure meant I could not start on Sunday. DNF. Racing teaches you to weather the toughest storms. To keep showing up, even when life reminds you that not everything is yours to control. Sometimes the hardest part is learning to make peace with what was never in your hands.
