This #SnoopDogg track was recorded for his debut album “DOGGYSTYLE” but didn’t make the final track list 🐾 The #DrDre produced masterpiece is understood to have been recorded in Snoop’s 1993 sessions for his debut. Oddly, the track DID get released. In 2009, Death Row Records (owned by Wideawake Entertainment at the time) dropped an expanded reissue of Dr. Dre’s legendary “The Chronic” - digitally remastered and packed with previously unreleased material from the Death Row vaults. The clean version of the album included “Smoke On” - released for the first time ever. But of course, Dr. Dre wasn’t happy with any tracks being released which weren’t approved by him. Almost immediately after the release of the album, Wideawake/Death Row were served with a cease and desist from Dre and the album was pulled from retail. How’s this joint hitting? Do you think this would’ve fit on snoopdogg’s “Doggystyle” album? 🤔 #92Bricks
