#KingT’s “THY KINGDOM COME” is one of the great lost Aftermath albums 🔥 This unreleased gem was recorded in 1997–98 under Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment label, with Dre heavily involved in the production and vision. It was supposed to be one of the first major solo releases on the new imprint following Dre’s Death Row Records era. The project had that signature West Coast polish. Funky, soulful, hard-hitting beats with Dre’s touch, featuring King T’s sharp lyricism and West Coast energy. Tracks like the Quik-produced “Let’s Make A V” showed the potential for a classic. Unfortunately, the album got shelved after the pre-release copy received a 3.5 mic rating in The Source Magazine. Dre, a notorious perfectionist, was unhappy with the review and pulled the project.
