Howard University just reversed a decision that had families in panic mode.
More than 200 of the 502 first year students who were unenrolled last week over tuition balances and missing immunization records have now been readmitted. The university says it reviewed financial aid records and other factors after hundreds of calls from worried students and parents.
For students still affected, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore stepped in, offering an $800 credit and expedited admissions support at University of Maryland system schools.
