In my experience, this step is fundamental because it prepares the tissues for the rest of the treatment. Without proper mobilization of the epicranial aponeurosis, achieving a visible lifting effect by the end of the facial becomes much more difficult. When working with clients who wear wigs, braids, or hair extensions, the technique must be modified.
