In August 1981, four women walked 120 miles to protest nuclear missiles on British soil. They thought they’d stay a night or two. They stayed nineteen years. By December 1982, 30,000 women joined hands around the entire base. By 1991, every missile was gone. #BritishHistory #UKHistory #WomensHistory
