Urothelial Neoplasm of UB ↘️↘️↘️ Most bladder tumors in elderly patients are urothelial, or transitional cell, carcinomas. Definitive diagnosis requires cystoscopy with biopsy, while urine cytology and contrast-enhanced CT or MRI are essential for accurate staging and treatment planning. Key ultrasound features suggestive of a bladder tumor include: * An irregular or papillary intraluminal soft-tissue mass. * Fixed attachment to the bladder wall. * Internal vascularity on Color Doppler. * Focal bladder wall thickening with loss of the normal wall interface. * Associated enlargement of the prostate with features of bladder outlet obstruction or possible prostatic invasion.
