From his record-breaking run of sold-out performances, to his iconic roles in Hollywood, Armstrong not only influenced generations of musicians, but opened doors for Black artists across all facets of the entertainment industry. It was an honor to induct him into our #ApolloWalkOfFame in 2014, and what better way to honor a New Orleans jazz man than with a second line!
