Honored this year in the Cross-Disciplinary Creator category, Sumayya Vally is the principal of _counterspace, an architecture and research practice exploring hybrid identities and spatial relationships, with a particular interest in the complex relationships between territories and places. A WEF Young Global Leader and recognised by TIME100 as someone who will shape the future of architectural canon and practice, she is the youngest architect commissioned to design the Serpentine Pavilion in London.
