San Xavier del Bac Mission, known as the “White Dove of the Desert,” is Arizona’s oldest intact European structure. The current church, completed in 1797, is famous for its stunning Spanish Colonial architecture, unfinished tower, and breathtaking interior filled with more than 180 sculpted angels.
