For years now, I’ve associated golf with my past and art with my future. Golf shaped so much of who I was growing up. It taught me discipline, patience, resilience and how to deal with both success and disappointment. When I stepped away from the sport, I honestly thought that chapter had closed for good. Then art took over. I never imagined that one day the thing I’d fallen in love with would lead me straight back to the sport that first shaped me. Working with The Women’s Open reminded me that you don’t always leave parts of yourself behind when you move on. Sometimes they’re just waiting to meet you again in a different way.
