Meet Rhoda Magbitang (rockyrhodakill), the eldest of six, cooking started as responsibility, not passion! watching her lola run a food stall just to help feed the family. At 17, she moved to the U.S. alone, trained at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, and cooked her way through some of LA’s top kitchens.
For her winning finale menu, she went home instead of playing it safe: abalone lugaw the way her mom made it when she was sick, tortang talong from childhood, and kaldereta her dad’s holiday dish dedicated to him on camera
To make it even more impressive, she was sent home, but came back through a round called “Last Chance Kitchen”… and took home the title! 🏆 (only the 4th chef in the show’s history to do it!)
Congratulations Rhoda! We are so proud of you! Thanks for representing and stay rising! ⭐️
Which Filipino dish would you win with on national tv? 👀
