His courage in the crisis was simply his consistency before the crisis. Why? He went for the light switch every single time. When darkness was surrounding him when the decree was signed he didn't change what he was doing. He didn't say "All right I'm gonna create a strategy. Let's have a meeting boys." No he got on his knees he opened the windows towards Jerusalem the place of sacrifice the place where God was housed the one true God in a foreign city with foreign gods and foreign foods where he could easily fit into the culture. He had an unbreakable prayer life that said "This might be a crisis but I am consistent because I go for the light switch every single time."
