Teaching them oil changes, jump-starts, and even rebuilding small engines. They also give them ride-alongs in EVs and autonomous vehicles. Stop waiting for techs to show up at your door. Go find them. You don't need to build a college program from scratch. You can partner with a local high school or community college, offer your service bay for one Saturday a semester, sponsor a local robotics club and connect it to automotive careers, or even host a 'parent-student career night' in your shop. Show them this is a viable, high-tech career path, not just a dirty job. The investment is small.
