You can’t fake confidence in running.
Paces that looked “too fast” to sustain for a period of time, feel controlled now, on rhythm.
The breathing feels natural, and I think I’ve only now learned the real meaning of running with your hips, forward leaning, good posture, and arm swinging that isn’t forced.
Where I truly see the difference is when I look at the relationship between cadence and HR. I would try to increase cadence and the HR would shoot up - this is normal. Now that doesn’t happen anymore because with a natural increased cadence, my body became more efficient, and a lot more economical. This means I’m no longer spending more energy trying to take more steps per minute, my body does it naturally for me.
This isn’t a coincidence. It’s evidence. It’s weeks showing up, continuously. A lot of sweat lost - you see it every day in my posts. A lot of ticked off runs and zero missed. A lot of quality sessions well executed and a lot of easy ones done properly.
