UPDATE: According to reports, the San Diego Padres have checked in on Kodai Senga. Senga has struggled this season, posting an 8.66 ERA over 44.2 innings. The right-hander is under contract through 2027 with a conditional team option for 2028 and has spent much of the season in the bullpen after struggling in the rotation.
