A 16-year-old has died after he was shot at a car meetup early Saturday in Woodbridge, Virginia, authorities say.⁠ ⁠ Twenty-four hours later, a woman was injured at a similar, also unauthorized event in Prince George’s County.⁠ ⁠ The teen was found shot and wounded in the 14100 block of Crossing Place at about 2 a.m., Prince William County police said.⁠ ⁠ “The investigation revealed there was large car meet at the location when a shooting occurred, where the victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, was struck in the upper body,” police said in a statement.⁠ ⁠ Prince William County Police responded after the 16-year-old showed up at a hospital. In an update Monday, police said the teen died.
