And standing in front of Skógafoss was even more incredible than we imagined. 📍Skógafoss, Iceland 🇮🇸 One of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, Skógafoss is about 60 metres (197 ft) tall and 25 metres (82 ft) wide. The amount of water crashing down is unreal, and on sunny days, the mist often creates beautiful rainbows.🌈 One thing we didn’t expect was just how close you can get. Be prepared to get soaked but it’s 100% worth it! 💦 You can also climb the stairs beside the waterfall for a completely different view from the top. Whether you’re a Game of Thrones fan or simply love chasing waterfalls, this is one place you shouldn’t miss in Iceland.
