Kevin Owens and CM Punk opened Friday's SmackDown at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia with a face-to-face segment. Owens repeatedly addressed the Undisputed WWE Champion by his real first name, Phil. It was Owens' first SmackDown appearance since he returned from neck surgery at SummerSlam on Sunday and won a fatal four-way over Gunther, Sami Zayn and Finn Balor to become number one contender to Punk's championship. "You are still the same arrogant sociopath you always have been," Owens told Punk. "Seeing what you've become has made me make sure to not let this business make me a miserable piece of s--- like you."
