Hulk Hogan spent weeks hyping an "Ultimate Surprise" ahead of Uncensored, showing a silhouette of a long-haired man with tassels on his arms, which led viewers to expect the Ultimate Warrior. Wilson debuted at the March 19 show as The Renegade. With Jimmy Hart as his manager, he beat Arn Anderson for the WCW World Television Championship at The Great American Bash on June 18, 1995.
