🚶Thanks to a resident request submitted through GlendaleOne, the Transportation Signing and Pavement Markings crew upgraded the existing crosswalk at Deer Valley Rd and Arrowhead Loop Rd to a highly visible ladder-style crosswalk. This intersection, located between Thunderbird Conservation Park and the pedestrian bridge over Loop 101, met Traffic Engineering's criteria for enhanced crosswalk markings due to its high pedestrian activity and proximity to popular walking routes. Ladder-style crosswalks are a quick, cost-effective improvement that increases visibility for drivers and help create a safer experience for people walking.
