Jasha Bichin joined the Trappers mid season via trade from the Hearst Lumberjacks in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. Jasha, a Langley resident had the following to say about joining his home town team: “The Trappers changed the way I look at the game. The coaches taught me hockey is a game of winning small battles and playing odds. Once I understood I started making smart plays instead of forcing plays. I became a more complete player who thinks the game better and does whatever gives the team te best chance to win”. The Trappers are entering the tenth season as a Junior organization and the first season in the new BCHC—British Columbia’s Hockey Canada Sanctioned Jr’A’ league.
