Bryson Patkau joined the Trappers from the Kelowna Hockey Club program. He was a big piece as a rookie player, receiving the team’s prestigious O’Grady’s Forward Of The Year award. Patkau had the following to say about what it’s like being a Trapper: “Being a Trapper to me means being committed and loving the game of hockey while pushing my efforts to the limit. The program has offered my teammates and myself the ability to work on and improve every aspect of our game”. The Trappers are entering the tenth season as a Junior organization and the first season in the new BCHC—British Columbia’s Hockey Canada Sanctioned Jr’A’ league.
