I made a promise to my friend who died unnecessarily a month ago. I told her I would share her story. I watched men unload her from a truck into a building in Orlando Florida where they proceeded to hang her upside down by her feet, slit her throat, and drain the blood from her dying body. They then cut her body into pieces so they could cook her flesh later, put her body parts on plates, and serve them to other people as a “steak” or a “burger”. This is the story of my friend Annabelle. There is no need for such violence and brutality. We can make better, compassionate choices. I founded the Vegansquad team with other people who care about animals and people just as much as I do, because I didn't want to be alone in this animal abusing world anymore and I wanted to play a bigger part in the compassionate, vegan movement.
