The Cozy Basement movie area transformation - from 0 to 80 in 5 years, and we still have to improve it a bit 😅 Houses might have the final idea from the start, but to get there it might take a lot of time. Even with a designer. Life and budget gets in the way, so even this quick transformation isn’t the reality. Just this year we managed to add a bespoke bookcase, that is 5 years+ after we moved in. When we moved in we had the couch, the tv unit, the stairs, and the handpained mural done by @biancaanton_illustrator 💜 After that I added a rug, some chairs, a small table, we changed the stairs - quick story somewhere around the feed. Then I added wall art, a new rug that is way better than the old one, removed the old table and chairs. Then I added the custom bookcase, added a side table.
