J. Cole opened the final night of his five-show New York run with “39 Intro,” entering through the crowd at UBS Arena on Wednesday night.
The Fall-Off Tour brought Cole to New York for two nights at Barclays Center, two nights at Madison Square Garden and a final Queens-area stop at UBS Arena.
The location carried special significance for the Fayetteville, North Carolina-raised rapper, who moved to New York after high school to attend St. John’s University in Jamaica, Queens. Cole has credited that move with bringing him closer to the music industry and helping launch the career that ultimately brought him back to New York for five arena shows.
