With just a few days until the Lloyd Center closes for good, the eclectic “community” mall is down to just under 40 active storefronts — about two dozen of which are filled by local businesses, nonprofits, art galleries clubs, eateries and activity spaces. The impending closure has scattered tenants across the city in search of new homes. Some are settling down in different Portland malls. Others are transitioning into more traditional brick and mortars, either within or outside the Lloyd District.
