They suck it up to make love pheromones (seriously!) and protect themselves from parasites. It’s a fairly easy seed to find and makes a beautiful, beneficial addition to any outdoor area. Does great in a pot too. P.S. It’s good 4 u too! Borage has edible flowers with a touch of cucumber flavor. Think: summer salad, or fancy ice cubes to beat the heat.
