FIGHT ON FOREVER | There are times in our lives when we’re called to do hard things.
Two years ago, I joined USC Athletics with the goal of challenging myself to grow as a creative. What I didn’t know at the time was that God had even bigger plans for me. Not only would I grow creatively, but I’d also be challenged to grow as a person.
Losing my mother has been the most life-changing experience I’ve ever faced. From the outside, many people probably never noticed a difference. But to those who saw me at my weakest and chose to embrace me anyway, thank you. And to those who may not have known what I was carrying but still extended grace and kindness, thank you as well.
These past two years have been filled with incredible blessings, but they’ve also been marked by tremendous grief. I lost my grandmother, friends and other family members as well. It’s been a journey. Through it all, God has remained faithful, and for that I’m deeply thankful.
